When there is an underlying element related to a specific event which may have happened, the lie detector test can identify the truth of the matter. Suspicion erodes trust and the test will either reinstate confidence or confirm a partner’s worst fears. Either way, both partners are able to move forward with their lives when they are in full possession of the facts. Our specialist polygraph examiners frequently deliver the infidelity lie detector test service to private clients all over the UK. Consistently the truth is established and our clients are able to make informed decisions based on the verified report they receive after the test. More often than not the report helps repair relationships rather than destroy them.
The questions proposed during a private lie detector test are designed to reveal the facts. For example, you will want to know if you partner has been unfaithful, whether any sexual contact has taken place, how often and perhaps with how many people or specifically with whom. You may want to know how long a particular affair has been going on. When a relationship began and/or ended can also be queried. It’s usually not advisable to ask questions that relate to what a person believes or what their opinion is on a matter. Depending on how complicated an issue is an infidelity lie detector test can take up to 2 hours. Usually up to 8 questions will be proposed with 2 to 3 of them related specifically to the issue that has caused the problem. The remainder are questions the examiner needs to ask for metrics and behavioural purposes in building a profile of the subject.
The full scope of case work involved in the infidelity lie detector test process spans around 2 hours. The first step is to discuss your case with one of our highly confidential and discreet client support personnel. This is a free consultation when we’ll consider the information you provide and tell you whether or not the test will help you. If your circumstances are suitable a reservation can be made for a mutually agreed time, date and location to conduct the test. On confirmation of your booking it is necessary to pay a non-refundable booking fee of £100. After the payment has completed we will send you a text message (sms) and email together with a secure access to our online pre-examination assessment form which must be completed within 24 hours. Once completed by you (the client), or by the subject(s) of the examination, and returned to us you can then proceed to the final booking stage where the remaining fee is taken. Once received a booking email with be sent to you confirming, date, time and office location of our test.
As can be expected from a confidential service, our online booking system is highly secure and simple to use. Instructions appear on screen to enable you to complete the process easily with the minimum of fuss. You can also choose the option of a home (residential) test or one in our controlled offices at a location nearest to you.
When the test is completed, if the results are irrefutable immediately, we are obliged to notify our client (our client is always the person who made the booking). If both parties are present and they are comfortable with the results being made available to both parties, our examiner will provide them verbally shortly after the test. However, this is only possible if the examiner deems the results to be conclusive. As with all of our reports the data derived from the test including charts, video and transcripts has to be analysed. After the analysis which ensures you get the authentic results the report is verified and sent to you. Usually this will be within 24 – 48 hours sent by email or tracked mail – the choice is yours. The examiner who conducted the test analyses the data and a second examiner verifies it before the report is sent.
Usually up to 3 definitive questions/statements
Free Pre-Examination Assessment
Same day/Next day service available
Fully qualified, accredited and registered APA (American Polygraph Association) / BPS (British Polygraph Society) Examiners
All our reports are verified by a second examiner
Available at residential address or controlled office
We use the latest polygraph equipment and we are regulated by the APA (American Polygraph Association).
All our examiners have many years’ experience in the industry and adhere to the strict codes of conduct set by the American Polygraph Association and Lie Detector Test UK. All possess excellent English language skills in addition to their qualifications in forensic psychology, criminology or other relevant skill set. Highly trained professionals, they are among the best in their field.
The test can last up to two hours depending on the complexity of the subject matter and the particular examinee to be tested. The examinee is asked up to 8 questions, 2 – 3 of them being specific to the issue. The remainder are test questions to work out the metrics and behaviour to build up the profile of the examinee. That is how we can provide between 95% – 98% accuracy on the polygraph test, which I imagine is what you are looking for, hence you contacting us.
Clients are asked if they can, where possible provide a written mandate to take to the test as to what needs to be tested with full date, times and other case facts needed to make the test accurate.
Questions that can be asked:
- All questions are strictly yes / no answers.
- Questions should not contain conjunctions such as ‘and’, ‘or’. The use of these in a sentence can make the question ambiguous and multifaceted. This can result in inconclusive results.
- The questions should not be long winded or lengthy in construction. They should be short and to the point.
- The more questions pertaining to the same issue, the more accurate the result will be.
- The examiner will suggest multiple ways to phrase the questions to cover every angle.
- Questions must relate to a known fact. Not opinionated.
- Questions cannot contain 2 different issues combined into 1. A problem arises if the person is truthful to 1 part of the question and lying to the other part – this will result in inaccurate or inconclusive results.
The examiner will guide you as to the correct wording of the test. Trust his / her judgement and expertise.
Statement test:
If the issue is complex, the examiner may use an approved and very accurate technique of a statement test. The scanned copy of the statement will be enclosed in the final report with the result. The examinee will be given the opportunity to write a statement stating his / her position regarding the accusations. The examinee will then be asked if they have lied in any responses to the questions in their statement:
1) Have you withheld any information in the statement given today?
2) Have you lied in any way in the statement given today?
3) Is the statement given today in any way false?
Our testing is adapted accordingly on a case-by-case basis as there is no ‘one size fits all’ scenario of private issues whether it be infidelity, relationships, family theft, false accusations and domestic abuse.
Many elements must be taken into consideration such as the specific circumstances, the subject being examined and psychological and physical variances. You will see this professionalism when you meet with our examiner prior to the test to go over the questions that will be asked in the test.
The polygraph examination will only be conducted once you have discussed with the examiner exactly what you require to be established from the test and approve the questions that the examiner has formulated.

Secure Online Booking
Use our secure online booking system to request your preferred date, time and location for a lie detector test.
To proceed and confirm your booking, we only require an upfront payment of a £100 booking fee (non-refundable). The booking fee is payable upon reservation and will be deducted from the total amount due at least 48 hours prior to the test.
The non-refundable booking fee confirms the customer’s intention to proceed with the booking and is used to cover costs we will have incurred, such as travel and venue expenses.
The booking fee is paid at the moment of the booking and then subtracted from the total to be paid a minimum of 48 hours before the test.
The nature of our work requires our examiners to be flexible and involves travel time and costs. Therefore we require a £100 non-refundable booking fee payment when you book your appointment.
The payment is non-refundable to ensure that the subject does in fact intend to take the test.
Without these measures in place, there is a temptation for a guilty party to book a test as proof that they have nothing to hide, and subsequently cancel the booking. Please be sure you or the test taker can, and intend to make the appointment when you book with us
We are a highly mobile polygraph service for client convenience, making ourselves available days, nights and weekends. This mobility requires us to be efficient in fee collection and scheduling. We would not be able to keep our fees so reasonable if after driving several hours, an examinee decided not to show up, leaving us with no work, no income and a long drive home. For these reasons, we do require £100 non-refundable booking fee WHEN you make your appointment.
Once an appointment is made, fees are non-refundable. You may certainly call for a free consultation at any time, we simply ask that you not schedule an appointment until you are certain you can make that appointment.
