Luton polygraph test could help police with a recent case of attempted murder. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The alleged attack took place after QPR’s home clash against Luton Town. Police discovered a 52-year-old man with a severe head injury. The man was found at 9.50pm on Friday, near the Uxbridge Road junction in west London.

The victim, Brian Rourke, who is from Luton, was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. His family have been informed that he currently remains in a life-threatening condition. The suspect remains in custody while the investigation is ongoing. Police are urging anyone who may have either witnessed the alleged incident or any kind of fighting after the game to come forward. Luton have since issued a statement, which read: “The thoughts of everyone at Kenilworth Road are with Brian Rourke and his family at this incredibly worrying time. “When a member of the Luton Town family is ill or injured, it affects us all. Brian is known as a faithful supporter and we are praying that he makes a full recovery.
